Tomi and Espoo
Since November is a Helsinki based indie pop band. It's a solo project of Tomi Mäkilä, who earlier played in bands like The Crash, Magenta Skycode and Montevideo. Tomi has been working on a space theme for quite some years already, struggling to find and gather the escaping shards together.

The first single, Star System, was released in 2017. It is a song about inability to perceive and reach one another.

The 2nd single, First Final Frontier, and a music video for it (directed by Paola Suhonen / IvanaHelsinki) was released on 1st of Feb 2019.

The 3rd single, called Airplane Astronaut, was released on June 19th. As the title suggests, it's about the right man in the wrong place. For some reason there's an astronaut flying a regular passenger plane (against his will) but he's stupidly confident he can do it. He's an astronaut, after all. So basically, it's a song about self-esteem & self-confidence: Concerns, the musician has been struggling with his whole life.

Stay tuned, as the space saga continues...

Maybe the two Fading Stars are just alienating lovers, Lift Offs might cause (or be the consequence of) resignation when Landings give you short-term comfort and may sound temporarily quite warm and secure. Space is the best word to describe loneliness.
